March 2015. Madness.

I didn't expect March to have many pictures as I couldn't remember any huge events.  Other than the snow - all the snow!  But I was wrong - many cute pictures AND several videos!! Here it is without further adieu:

We had record-breaking snow the first week of March.  All told, we got about seventeen inches of snow at our house.  Definitely the most deepest snow I have ever seen that I can remember (as a native of Minot, ND, I'm sure that I have technically seen more snow, but I don't have any memory of it.)
All bundled up and ready to go!
While Caroline took her morning nap, Pete gave rides down our street on our neighbor Bob's inner tube!  He pulled me down the road, too, but there is no recording of it (thankfully.)

Look how cute the girls are in their headbands from Julie!

Wearing her mask past Valentine's Day.

In March the whole state (nation?) goes crazy for basketball, so we wear a little more blue than usual.

We ran the Shamrock Shuffle on the 14th.  I think the girls had a good time riding in their double stroller, even though it was raining the whole time.

After the race - pancakes!  (and a wardrobe change to be ready for the game later, naturally.)

Then, on the 15th, Caroline was 18 months old!  A year-and-a-half.  Sayitaintso.

As an 18-month old, Caroline said her name for the first time -"Tear-nine!"  She also had her first 2- word phrases including: "mommy shoes off," "daddy working," "Ellie bye-bye," and "no cleanup!"  She was 32.5" tall (76%) and weighed 25lbs (63%)

 St Patrick's Day Sisters
March was also the beginning of birthday season for our group of friends - first up was Carson, then Scarlett, and finally, Caroline Van Meter.
Here's a pic of the girls two years ago at Carson's 2nd birthday, and this year at Scarlett's birthday.

He's a really good Daddy.

 A glimpse of everyday Ellie.
 Another masked marauder.

Enough snow and rain, and you'll do just about anything to pass the time while sister takes her morning nap.

Last but not least, Palm Sunday.
