Well, today was the day - I cut 8+ inches of my hair off to donate to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths campaign. They use the hair to make wigs to give to women with cancer. I knew I'd cut my hair the day I found out my mom had cancer, but I had to wait for it to be long enough (and I wanted Melanie to take our picture in case short hair didn't suit me).
So here are the before pics:

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!!soooo cute :D - so how long will it take for your mom to get her wig? that' such a cool thing and am glad you get to do that for her :D
she won't get a wig from me - it takes 6 ponytails to make one wig - but some woman, somewhere, will get a wig made from my hair. :)
It's so CUTE! Do you feel better about it now that you got to style it yourself? It looks GREAT! Have you been running your fingers through it all night long, or what? AGH! I love it.

Looks great! Maybe I'll grow mine and donate a ponytail, too....
